veeru
The US Consul General Hyderabad Mr Cornelis Keur said that there is no curb on the issue of H-1 B visas (non immigration visa issued to foreign nationals) to US as reported in a section of press in India. Mr Keur made it clear that it was incorrect information that the US has restricted the number of visas due to global economic recession. Addressing reporters at the JNTU here on Wednesday, Mr Keur said the US administration would like to issue as many visas as possible after justification of recruitment of foreign nationals to the local needs. He said AP is the largest source of human resource for US and more than 40 per cent of visa applications that are being filed in US Consulate are from this state.
