'Malleswari' In Color

Since the remake of Mayabazar in colour was a big hit and fetched lot of money to the makers, many producers in Tollywood are planning to remake the 1951 super hit NTR and Bhanumati starrer Malleswari in colour.  The film was produced and directed by BN Reddy under the banner Vahini Productions Limited. The film was a super hit in 1951 mostly because of the songs.

The film was released but soon it lost its initiative as it was branded as 'class' film. However it picked up good talk as one of the best films that marked Telugu cinema. Few producers expecting the same success and planning to remake the movie in colour!

It is interesting to see that all movies which are being remade in colour have NTR in them, even today he is a big pull.
