YES..DEFINITELY it is a good move.....You are questioning why should govt try to show their strength in a democracy...

in that case, in a democracy...how can certain group of people attack the properties of others? How can certain group of people damage public property? How can certain group of people, threaten the elected bodies and force them to resign? How can they cause inconvenience to their neighbors?

Democracy is not mere njoyment of rights..it comes with a combo of responsibilities as well...

Peace rally...lol...the heck...was there atleast one rally organized by the miscreants and seperatists that went peacefully ? In every rally they took out, they put public to inconvenience. They damaged public property.

show some past incidents related to peace rallys which made them think like that...
