Here's some good news for us!!

1. SEVP removed the derogatory posting on its website regarding HGU yesterday!

2. We have received word that the California SEVIS office has begun approving Herguan OPT Extensions and OPT requests.

3. We have had all issues regarding the Notice of Intent to Withdraw removed but one. And that remaining one is in the process of being "settled." That one had to do with formal approval of the MBA program. However, because SEVIS processed MBA students like CS students, how were we to know there was a formal approval issue from years before? So, this is as much an issue for SEVIS as it is for HGU--in other words, it looks like both sides are culpable. Thus a settlement looks likely. As soon as this negotiation is complete, we'll announce the missing piece.

Earlier in December, Harry Reid, the President of the United States Senate (3rd in line to the Presidency if something happened to President Obama), assigned his chief legal counsel to contact ICE to request a settlement of the case against HGU. Now things are moving quickly. So, all of this is good news.
