As long as your I-94 is valid, You can keep the same I-94 card...the Canadian Officier at the boarder will not ask you for your US Visa status /and/or I-94 card but only a valid visa to enter Canada. While coming back to US from Canada, the US official will check your visa/ your wife's visa, I am sure they will not change your I-94 if it is valid through July 2011 but for your wife I am not sure, if they will issue a new I-94 or if they will staple the one she already has... Do not worry about the I-94 card while travelling back/forth Canada/US... If you travel by road to Canada your passport is not even stamped at the port of entry/exit..
