just2deal Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 All banks follow RBI rules and guidelines in fixing the interest rates..so you do not find much diference the interest rates between the big and nationalised banks.Some co-operative and non-schedules banks may offer high rate of interest..but there is risk associated with the rewards! You can chose any nationalised bank whic is convenient to you ...If you have large amount ,you can break into multipe deposits and can deposist in 2 or more banks

RBI rules emo kaani.. SBI offers lowest, though the most reliable n trustworthy of all.. ofcoz i'm comparing sbi savings with fixed deposit rates.. don't know what fixed-deposit rates sbi offers but i guess they r comparetively lower than other nationalized banks..
