Since he is opener, the only way to pull him into XI is by dropping one of the openers. Gambhir is little better in ODI's than Sehwag lately and selectors obviously dropped Sehwag. However, I am very much surprised to see Sharma in team. His average is 13 in hist last 12 matches. Jadeja is just on the border line (of course with some backing). I strongly believe that unless BCCI starts investing money on green pitches and nurturing bowlers (fast bowlers), instead of counting the money earned in IPL, we will not become a No.1 team and we don't deserve it. One instance is - Pathan was king (Yes, he was with all the talent he had) when he entered international cricket and everyone praised him like anything till he was completely out of form. Once out of form, BCCI didn't care what he was doing. All they expect is perform well in Ranjis just before the selection and get selected for the Team India. As if it is not enough to damage, there is the IPL. Murali Vijay transformed from test batsman to fastest centurion in IPL.) If we look at the history, all the great teams have the best bowling attack. We are in stage where we have to play with Dinda, Vinay Kumar as test fast bowlers.
