Akbar Arrested Finally, Hyderabad Tense

Finally, the Andhra Pradesh police have mustered the courage to arrest Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi for his alleged hate speech against the Hindus recently.
The police from Nirmal, with the help of their Hyderabad counterparts, arrested Akbaruddin at 5.20 pm at the Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad, where he had undergone various medical tests to assess his health status. The police took the decision after ascertaining that his health was in perfect condition, except for some minor problems. He is likely to be taken to Nirmal for questioning.
The police went on high alert all over Hyderabad apprehensions that there would be serious law and order problem following the arrest of Akbaruddin. However, the police officials have said they would not keep quiet just because there is a fear of communal clashes.
The police have already taken all precautionary measures and stepped up security in various parts of the state. Security has been heavily strengthened in the old city of Hyderabad, which is considered a stronghold of the MIM. Special forces have been called in to maintain calm in this area.
