[b]New Delhi[/b]: in the recent all party meeting central government India gave assurance that the Telangana issue will be solved within one month. It seems that the Congress government is serious about solving the Telangana problem. The government is also considering making Hyderabad an union territory, according to sources. Congress government is discussing dividing the state into two and makes Hyderabad a union territory with four district. This will satisfy both Telangana and Andhra leaders and give a solution to the burning problem, as said by some leaders. Sushil Kumar Shinde suddenly brought the issue of making Hyderabad a union territory in the media conference. He said that the government is discussing whether to make Hyderabad a union territory or not.[/font][font=Arial, Georgia,]
With the comments of Sushil Kumar Shinde, it is now clear that division of Andhra Pradesh is certain. Warangal will be made the capital for Telangana and Vijayawada will be the capital of Andhra, according to sources. Since there are people from all the three regions staying in Hyderabad since many years and also keeping the security of military and the country, Hyderabad should be made a union territory. According to sources, this was discussed in the core committee meeting in New Delhi. But after announcing Hyderabad as union territory, it should be made the common capital for both the newly formed states, it is discussed.[/font][font=Arial, Georgia,]
TRS, Majlis and BJP will not agree for making Hyderabad a union territory. TRS leaders are arguing that they will agree for a Telangana state without Hyderabad. Majlis is also against making Hyderabad a union territory. It is proposing Greater Telangana along with Kurnool and Anantapur districts. Central government is planning to make Hyderabad a union territory combining Hyderabad, Ranga reddy, Medak, Nalgonda and Mahboob Nagar districts.[/font][font=Arial, Georgia,]
The demand of making Hyderabad a union territory is not new. Latest developments in New Delhi are indicating that there is discussion going on the response of political parties for this proposal. There are rumors going around that central government has come to a decision that diving the state into two and announcing Hyderabad a union territory is the only solutions for Telangana issue.[/font][font=Arial, Georgia,]
[size=4][b]Proposed Hyderabad union territory may have nine parliament seats. It can be announced as elected union territory which means elections can be conducted here. Union territory will be formed with 64 mandals in Nalgonda, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak and Mahboobnagar districts. The area of it will be 34743 square kilometers. This is more than the area of forty countries in the world.[/b][/size][/font]
