The delegates who were putting up in a plush hotel in Ahmedabad for attending the summit were sent back home.[/size][/font][/color] [color=#000000][font=arial][size=3]According to Gujarat's principal secretary (home) SK Nanda, the Pakistani delegates could not attend the summit in Gandhinagar, as they had visa only for Ahmedabad.[/size][/font][/color] [color=#000000][font=arial][size=3]Sources within the government maintain that while the administration was all ready to get the delegates to the venue, the decision was changed at the last minutes when the issue concerning their visa came up.[/size][/font][/color] [color=#000000][font=arial][size=3]While the Union Government is trying to come up with an effective response to the brutal killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistani troops, a 22-member delegation of Karachi Chamber of Commerce, which was in Ahmedabad to attend the sixth edition of VGGS, was not allowed to even visit the tourist spots around the city or even attend the summit, which had participants from over 120 countries across the globe.[/size][/font][/color] [color=#000000][font=arial][size=3]Karachi Chamber of Commerce had been warming up to Narendra Modi since last year, when the delegates from the body had attended a business event at Ahmedabad.
