when user runs a select statement on a view, Before view select runs on DB one table needs to be refreshed.

Below is the scenario


create or replace view v_1 as select * from t1,t2;

But t2 needs to be updated as of the time user runs a select on v1.

view is like a virtual table(again updated table) so if you use(I mean select) the view what you get is the most recent data from the table..hope this is what you are looking for

em ledhu bhayya,..oka view v1 undhi...you know view is nothing but select statement.


aa view lo inko1 table t1 undhi....


Now what I want is when user selects the view( Which means the select statement related the view will be run in backend), table t1 should be refreshed first and then the view select should be issue to DB.

Its something like pre-select triggers on view. and that trigger will refresh another table
