It is over a month now that Nirbhajaya was savagely attacked on a moving bus.The whole nation stood up in outrage and anger. I am worried that the tremendous public anger will slowly fizzle down in to helplessness.

There are a few enemies lurking in our hearts.

TIME is our enemy, now that the wound has become old we tend to forget and move on

... HOPELESSNESS is our enemy. We might feel that inspite of showing up in thousands on streets, government is doing nothing.We might feel no new laws can really change the society

LACK OF CLARITY is our enemy, we might not know which laws, if enacted can become our powerful weapons

PERSEVERANCE, CLARITY and HOPE are our ALLIES

Our real battle starts now, where we need to persevere with verma's commitee, have clarity on the laws we need and keep our hopes up.It might take days or months, but let us hold on until we see STRONGER LAWS ENACTED.

I made a video detailing the 29 point recommendations that Loksatta made to Verma committee. Dr JP himself personally spoke with Justice Verma hoping to get justice to Indian women.
