[/quote] I feel its mixed up reasoning Once you get ur GC u r expected to work with ur employer..USCIS doesnt say how long..but 6 months is considered safe bet..but that was before AC21 was passed..Now there is no rule,but its better to play safe ani 6 months follow avuthaaru you should be able to justify when u go for citizenship interview that the GC process wasnt fraud.. As for job,u should file ur taxes as a resident till u get ur GC..that means u cant stay(generally) out for more than 180 days..no specific amount..u might make loss in business too..u can file unemployment too As for salary..apart from the period u worked for the employer who filed for GC,there is no hard and fast rule.. only when u r with the employer who filed for r GC u should be paid the amount listed I might be wrong..but I have seen cases and is generally agreed upon logic..btw,I have my GC
