If you dont want developement..DBA is the best but still konchem dev kooda untundi konni company la first look at data model/database diagram and try to understand the relation ships..look at the data dictionary..the more you understand the data, the better you understand the requirements...try to record the meeting on your phone and then listen multiple times...then you will know what exactly to ask.
