[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]Several designs submitted by the [/size][/font][/color][url="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Andhra-government"]Andhra government[/url][color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4] were rejected by New Delhi, highlighting the lack of creativity and coordination between different departments in the state, officials said.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]"This is the fourth time in running, we lost out which is such a big shame for us," said a senior official.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]During the annual parade, Indian states showcase their diverse culture and heritage in the form dance troupes performing on colourful moving tableaus.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]Sources said the government was asked to prepare three to four concepts, but none of them were accepted as they were found to be lacking imagination and creativity.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]After much consultation, the government presented its trademark handicraft brand Lepakshi in the 3D model but even that could not cut much ice, disappointing locals.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]While there are five union territories and 14 states participating at the tableaux parade, southern states of only Karnataka and Kerala have made the final cut.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#3F3F3F][font=georgia][size=4]Experts said the political turmoil and lack of coordination between departments have probably resulted in the shameful result.[/size][/font][/color]
