HFM is one of top priority applications. The role will provide support and key input into end state environments as additional HFM applications come online. The role is critical to the strategic EPM vision, centralizing on a common platform and infrastructure for The role will also work closely with the business, BIS Services teams, BIS management staff and our Managed Service partners. Must Haves • 7 to 10 years of experience in Information Management (Application Support and/or Application Development). • 5 to 8 years of hands on experience with financial planning, forecasting and reporting implementations • 3 to 5 years solid, hands-on experience in Oracle HFM infrastructure and application configuration (support or development) • Proficient in HFM version 11.1 or better, including FDM connected to an Oracle back-end database. • Previous experience in installing, implementing and configuring HFM/FDM as well as applying patches and upgrading an HFM application in a Microsoft Windows environment. • Proven experience with Hyperion Reporting Tools. • Knowledge of HFM Infrastructure, Shared Services, Web UI, Workspace, Web Analysis, Consolidation App Servers and Clustering. • Knowledge of HFM, Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA) and Configuration and Monitoring Console (CMC). • Experience troubleshooting issues (performance, security, etc) in HFM. • Experience troubleshooting issues on client computers (memory, plug-ins, browser settings, etc). • Understand the principles of Project Lifecycle Methodology and/or IT SDLC. • Ability to communicate progress/status of assigned responsibilities on an ongoing basis to management. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Background in developing thorough documentation to be used for supporting production application. • Ability to prioritize work and estimates time for task completion. • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities across several groups • Fundamental knowledge of Web Logic • A combination of critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills • Ability to partner closely with technical counterparts internally and externally to gain a complete and accurate understanding of the requirements in order to set strategic direction balancing short term needs with a clear vision for the long term • Be confident and comfortable with raising key application and/or process related questions and issues where applicable and engage in frank and candid technical discussions to quickly eliminate roadblocks and uncertainty • Proactively seek out alternatives to enhance user experience and/or streamline support processes Nice to have • Working background in Hyperion Enterprise, Essbase and Planning • Prior experience in Disaster Recovery development and execution • Knowledge of HFM - Life Cycle Management (LCM) • Knowledge supporting Financial Reporting and Financial Close Process. • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Server 2003, MS Clustering • Familiarity with SAN and NAS storage. • Fundamental knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL). • Knowledge of LDAP, Site Minder, Load Balancing and IIS Preferred.
