Employer Threatening To Sue Me !

Recommended Posts

I have moved project and switched employers.. mean while my old employer and vendor has a discrepancy on time I had worked in the last week at my previous client. I have worked 40hrs and sent my Client manager signed time sheet to my employer.

But he is stating that vendor is not accepting that hours and he is stating he is going to sue me for putting a fake time sheet.
I got my time sheet approved by my client manager and I think I still have that with me.

And my old employer was a pain in the ass never paid on time, now he is not releasing my W-2 also..

What is going to happen any thoughts guys?

Is your employer saying the Vendor is cryingg foul when it comes to your time sheet?

Something is fishy here taking into consideration your old employer is giving you a tough time with the W2 etc. I have a hard time believing a Vendor would say such things.

If possible directly talk to the Vendor..I have a feeling your old employer is not telling you the truth

If you have not done anything wrong there is no need to worry at all. Lets do this;
1 # Contact the person (Client Manager) that approved your time sheets and have a word about this situation.
2 # Contact & get the vendor up to speed on your discussion with Client Manager.
3 # Send an email "TO" your employer and "CC" both Vendor and Client Manager. In this email specifically mention the timesheet that had issues with and Highlight the discussion you had with Client Manager and Vendor.

As far as W2 is concerned, send your employer another professional email requesting to mail your W2. Include the dates of employment, your job title, location/s etc.., also include your current mailing address. Wait for couple of days and send a follow up email, if there is no response wait till the end of Feb and send warning email saying that your are left with no options and are forced to knock the doors of DOL in 48hrs.

Ucha posukoni immediate ga reply isthadu. Let me know if you need any help.
