Estory 2 : Chittinaidu's Affair

Happy new year to all of you. May this year brings you happiness and peace in all your personal and family life

With this new year greetings, I am starting off with yet another important issue of my family.

My brother has been my best friend and a sharing shoulder for sometimes now. He is just one year younger to me, which means he is 29 this year.

Since we lost our dad on a heart attack suddenly in 2007, it was my brother who stood up for us, and settled most the things straight in our lives like a dad.
He then went to Dubai, and worked their as an Engineer to settle down my sister who wasn't married then. Afterwards, I had problems with my in laws and had a temporary separation from my hubby, so my brother took a very good care of myself and the kid for sometimes.

He is too fond of my son, as well as shares a good rapport with my husband. Overall, he is responsible and caring guy, who is in the process of looking for potential bride for marriage.

After the demise of my dad, my mom has become so weak; hence I, as an eldest at home take cares of our family matters the most.

My brother had an affair with a girl who is from a different community/language and religion while he was in the university. This affair continued for sometimes and then they broke it up. The girl is now married, and my brother too moved so far from his past.

Concerning his age, we decided to marry him off. We started looking for brides via relatives, brokers and matrimonial sites. When ever we comes across a good one, he eventually rejects for various petty reasons. We still kept trying to get a good match, and finally one of our relative bought an alliance, that is also one of our distanced relative girl.

He somehow agreed to meet her, and then showed some signs as if he is happy with her. We were happy, and then we were about to start progressing further.

This is where, he called my mom and said a big NO... not only to this girl, but also for future proposals, citing that he has a girl friend. He neither revealed who she is, nor does he say since when this relationship started. It was like he was unaware about this affair till he met the so called proposed girl. Anyways, to broke his silence, I started viewing his FB, and found out that one girl, very recently been added and shares much with him.

She even comments on my photos, my kids photos and become too friendly with us. She sometimes made some tricky comments like " I am your wife" to my brother, which was then deleted (may be upon my brother's request). I found her.

When I asked my brother regarding this, he accepted, but asked me not to progress further as if he isn't too sure about it at all. I remained silence, as it is his life and not mine.

Recently, this girl tried adding me into her FB list, and starts chatting with me as if we are too close friends. She says she loves my brother, but can't think of a wedding now as she didn't finish her studies yet. She is btw 23 now. She also says, her parents and family is much more important to her, so that she needs a job.

She also says that her parents are unaware of this love. But comments openly in FB and posts pics of them publicly, where her siblings too in FB.

I am upset, as I don't want to see my brother sad or looser anymore in his love life. He deserves a better life.
Further, if she needs more than a couple of years, then it will be too late for my brother to wait - Concerning our other family issues
Also, why does the girl has to hide things from her parents, but expose every info in FB -

As a sister, and as a lead in our FOO, what would be the best step that I could take now? Advice please
