Network Engineer – Immediate Need

Coordinate and perform installations, preventive and remedial maintenance of open systems servers and storage equipment located within the engineering LAB computing environment. Adhere to administrative policies and escalation procedures. Provides technical expertise and support to engineering group.

Education/ Experience Required or Desired:

Education Required: Bachelor (Technical), or commensurate experience.

Certificate(s): None Experience required: 2-5 year

Skills:

Proficiency in Unix (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX & AIX),Windows 2000/2003, VMware and Storage Area Networking technology.

Demonstrated understanding of EMC Symmetrix storage array.

Understanding in TCP/IP networking and system virtualization technologies.

Ability to develop local tools or automation scripts in support of large lab initiatives.
