santhusen8 Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 I was at my night call , there was an Code Blue ( patient with no pulse and unresponsive) went there ran the code ( Like trying to bring him back by resuscitation) patient was dead after all the effort declared him dead at around 2.30 am , as the ER was empty went to sleep in call room . Slept for half n hour woke up sat up on the bed when the Pager rang , looked at pager it was call from ER . i had to pick up my coat so turned towards my right side , it was shocker i saw this guy staring at me , whom i declared dead half n hour back , i was shocked tried to walk away from him towards the door and he is gone , i was all sweating , left the room in shock I decided to see this dead guy again , nurse was cleaning this guy , sat down there for 1 min just looked at him , i regained my confidence back looking at his helpless body , left to ER to do the work again . My first thought about this incident was , am i dreaming , or did that guy came back to thank me for trying to save him , i don't know but that was one spooky experience never happened in the past and never happened after that incident still sleeping in the same call room
