Prabhas:He looke two good in this film,especially in formals in flashback episode. Performance wise there is no doubt that he carried entire film on his shoulders,overall he has done his part well.A better director could have elevated his efforts more effectively.



Other Artistes:Richa was adequate, anushka was fine .Sathyaraj was good in father's role but he underplayed too much.Sampath was impressive.Aditya menon,Nagineedu ,Ajay,supreeth and subbaraju all were apt in their roles. Nadiya was breif.Brahmi did not get much footage,raghubabu,satyam rajesh and others were okay.

Story-Screenplay-Direction:Director koratala shiva tried to give a different touch to the formulaic story. But he was not able to maintain the tempo in the screenplay, comedy,sentiment, action all elements are in the story, but they were not handled well by the director and there by he was successful only in parts. 1st half is adequate ,few comedy scenes and sentiment scenes worked well.Interval episode was totally misfire and did 'nt generated the real kick .2nd half starts with a good flashback and scenes between anushka and prabhas, prabhas encounters with villains were good, just when the pace was getting better,director again failed to get it to the peaks.pre climax and climax both were ineffective and weak.Overall koratala shiva was partly successful both as a writer and director.



Other departments: Dilaouges by koratala shiva were just okay,Music is a big plus to the movie.Songs and background score bothe were good.Camera work was good with rich visuals.Editing is fine.Fights were adequate.

Analysis:Mirchi is an average movie which has all ingredients that are needed for a commercial entertainer but falls below the expectations becuase of weak handling/direction.Entertains in parts.[/b][/b]
