Like his father and grand father, Naga Chaitanya is at home in romantic scenes. This film proves that he should have made debut in love story rather than action story like he did. Naga Chaitanya’s asset is his voice and his casual acting style. Chaitanya has improved much better in performance from his first film but he needs to look after his face. Of the star cast, Naga Chaitanya delivers an incredible performance in his role as Karthik. He’s not too flamboyant and most of the time he underplays his role but he knows that he’s passionately in love with Jessi. It’s difficult to find any similarity between Chaitanya’s performance in ‘Josh’ and ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and what’s even harder to believe is that there has hardly been five months of gap between the two. Naga Chaitanya is extremely natural in the role of Karthik. It is basically a conversational film with too many tight close-ups. It takes real confidence and acting prowess to do such scenes in an authoritative manner. Naga Chaitanya proves that he is a brilliant actor with his performance in this movie. His dialogue delivery and body language is highly authentic. You are not going to believe that this is his second film after watching his performance.
