We are just receiving reports that many popular Telugu FB pages like Eey Oooru NaNa ManadHi, Pora half ticket have been hacked.[/background][background=transparent]
The admins of those pages have been removed as admins and an unknown person has become the admin of these pages. The original admins of these pages are in a state of shock and they have no clue of what is happening.[/background][background=transparent]
It is still not yet known if they hacker has used some Phishing techniques to get the admin passwords or if he is using some other technique. Some page admins have reported that there is a bug in facebook which the hacker is exploiting. The bug is" If you create a page with similar name and raise a request to merge the new fb page with the original one, then you become the admin of the merged page".[/background][background=transparent]
It is yet to be seen if Facebook will react to how to deal with this. Facebook page admins spend hours in managing their pages and building a fan base of thousands of people.
