LadiesTailor Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 if you want to load balance your apache servers.. you need to have physical load balancer like cisco or f5.... you need to make sure your both apache ports are up like server1:8000 & server2:8000.... and send this configuration to LB team to start load balancing... intha kante ekkuva typing cheyyalenu

Above Apache .. anedhi for sure .. nto controlled by a webserver or a middleware. only thing u can do is.. you can add some distribution to your incoming request like.. 1) Redirect the incoming Request to multiple nodes at the application level.. { default standard } 2) Add a VIP or a load balancer above both the apaches and control/tweak the paramaeters in that VIP / local load balacner..
