USCIS ki june 2nd lopala ni h1b application reach ayite u will come under cap gap and eligible to work till oct 1st. If ur application reaches after june 2nd (provided quota is open ) then u are eligible to stay till oct 1st till ur h1 b is valid but cannot work after june 2nd 2013. Make sure u file h1b application as soon as possible so that u r good to work and there is no discontinuity to work..in both cases u wont be out of status if applying this year ..See URL below for more info

as far as i know....OPT ext kuda aipote..u dont have work eligibility unless filed for H1...'adi April varaku possible kaadu...

so not sure how it works out....college lo inko open course teskunte better...
