Well, frankly speaking I don't have much knowledge on it as I have started working a liitle while ago..

Kani in a nutshell..Hadoop is a distributed file system (built on JAVA) which is optimized to handle massive amounts of data through parallellism(map-reduce jobs). As data increased massively over the years, RDMS can't really handle such huge data sets. So, we are making use of Hadoop..

You can google it for more info...RDBMS will start fading eventually..Future motham Hadoop ee inka. Oka 6 months experience unna, you can get into top notch companies with a six figure salary..
