Depends on the company and role...That said my vote is for US, if you take an average working guy. But for any typical IT guy, working in US helps him or her to learn more than working in India. How can learning through phone conferences is better than working directly with clients. After few years of working in Technology, you ultimately have to move Management in which your communication skills will be tested.
That's why all top MBA schools prefer international experience than just working in native country.
