Bhagavad Gita - Give Me Examples For This Poem/situation,

"Shreyaan sva dharmo vigunaha
para dharmaat svanushthitat"

Meaning:

It meant that it was better to commit mistakes on the path that one’s soul is meant to walk on, than to live a perfect life on a path that is not meant for one’s soul. Discharge one’s own swadharma, personal law, even if tinged with faults, rather than attempt to live a life meant for another.

---

I can understand the meaning in Arjuna's condition: Being a kshatriya, fighting in the Kurukshetra war is his foremost Swa-Dharma, and that he should discharge his Swa-dharma, even though it is to kill his gurus and relatives.

but give me any real-life examples, if you can/know.

Yes, they do.
May be they wont say it it out; but, they do think.
And, please dont even think of a world without selfishness.... as it doesn't exist in reality.

naku arthamaindi chepthanu...

manam rakarakala patralu poshistham roju... as an employee, as a son, as a brother, as a husband etc etc

as an employee our dharma is to work hard and do your job... ala kakunda dbing chesthe adhi tappu @3$%
as a son, you should be respectful to your parents, responsible to your family etc ila chala untai... ala kakunda parents ni ignore cheyyatam, etc lantivi chesthe tappu...

as a husband, neku responsibilities untai.. avi vadilesi frnds tho parties alantivi chesthe tappu...

so my point is do what is morally correct... do your dharma...
