pina oka quote lo question adiga mama..nuvvu nee friends circle lo andarini adugu..ask them to give you a serious habit (other than movie related) that they are pursuing..

serious habit ante - lets say cycling anuko..ask them how serious they are about it, like do they have cycle gear, do they go out on trips, how frequently, do they participate in cycling related discussion forums etc.,.

lets say dancing is their hobby - ask them do they go to classes, how are they pursuing, do they practice ? how frequently do they practice, are they trying to learn any new dance forms etc.,

it can be coding also..outside work, probably somebody might still be interested in coding learning new stuff etc.,..

basically outside work, there has to be something in a persons life other than films, mandu and girl for njoyment..

I don't live abroad, but for the very small time I did during my studies, I found most Indians either watch movies or play cricket (sometimes forming their own leagues).

But in India, life is much better. We have trekking clubs, flying clubs (The one in Madras is awesome and very affordable. I'm a member, and close to getting my pilot license), biking clubs, and also forums like teambhp who conduct meets often, electronics hobbyists, robot fighting groups.

If you are in India, I suggest you dump your movie watching idiot friends and pick one of these clubs. If you are in US, dump the country and come back to India. lol.

In vizag, there's a surf club, but restrictions on boarding now and then is an issue for growing the club further. hopefully they lift it soon, the club is even ready to pay for regular life savers around the perimeter.

Just listening to most of the dialogues and storylines in Telugu films, makes me cringe. It portrays our society as primitive.

art ledu, thokka ledu..

movies are not some art form. They are for people who can't concentrate on books, or can't be bothered to watch plays on stage.

movies are like magic shows. for under developed brains.
