According to the the latest Times Now C-Voter survey ‘State of the Nation’, the predictions are as follows: YSRCP-12, Cong-8, TDP-9, BJP-3, TRS-9, AIMIM-1.[/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]
Though YSR Congress party remained single largest party in the survey, surprisingly, this is probably the only survey which predicted TDP 9 seats, whereas all other surveys predicted a doom for TDP with less than 5 seats in AP. Analysts wonder whether BJP could win 3 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Times Now survey also gave 8 seats to Congress party, which is reeling under anti-incumbency factor with no tall leader to lead the party.[/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]
All earlier surveys predicted YSR Congress party a massive win with majority seats anywhere between 25-35. Yes, surveys may not give precision accurate figures, but analysts believe that sudden sharp decline in YSRCP seats in Times Now survey is debatable. Only a couple of weeks ago, India Today cover story titled ‘The Great Ally Bazaar’ in their latest edition, found YS Congress Party emerging as a formidable force in Andhra Pradesh. It says YS Jaganmohan Reddy will play kingmaker at national politics.[/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]
[b]Another aspect worth noting regarding the principal opposition party in Andhra Pradesh Telugu Desam Party. Under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, TDP not only failed to attract even a single prominent leader into their fold, it also failed miserably in stopping several MLAs and senior leaders from joining YSR Congress party. TDP is in danger of losing all of its MLAs in Telangana region due to TRS factor and Andhra, Rayalaseema regions are a worry to TDP because of its two-eyed policy on Telangana.[/b][/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]
It is worth noting here that Times Now earlier surveys have not been so popular because of its inaccurate predictions. In 2009, Times Now predicted Congress 15, Maha Kutami 22, PRP 4, but the actual figures were nowhere near with Congress getting 33 seats Maha Kutami 8 seats with PRP winning no seats. One person said “I don’t trust Times Now, because of its history of poor predictions, rather I would trust India Today predictions as they are closer to the reality”. Another YSR Congress party supporter said “Why do you say YSRCP popularity on the decline? The survey still gives majority seats to YSRCP. In fact, this is a good news for us”. It is also being speculated that Times Now CVoter took the help of a news channel which supports TDP to conduct the latest survey.[/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]
Sometimes referred to as Andhra Octopus, a popular Congress leader from Vijayawada who is known for his ‘accurate’ exit poll surveys, reportedly conducted his own survey and the result was a thumbing majority for YSR Congress party, which prompted the leader not to make the survey public. Another survey conducted by Congress leaders in Nellore also proved to be a disaster for Congress party and again a huge victory for YSR Congress party. Apart from these local surveys, Nielson Survey, India Today Survey, Delhi Survey and few others have given huge win for YSR Congress party. But the Times Now C-Voter survey seems to be the only survey which differs with all other surveys.[/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]

Ac t o r Balakrishna, who is in the habit of drawing rousing applause from the audience in theatres, failed to draw even a considerable gathering when he hit the Vijayawada roads to feel the people’s pulse ahead of his joining in active politics on Sunday.
