If you are still on your OPT and if your OPT ends before September 30th .... Call your International Advisor(school) and ask them if the Sevis record has been updated til September 30th .... Also you can ask them if they can see any EAC number on the Sevis record !!

If your SEVIS record has been updated till september 30th ... it's assumed that your application has been picked !!

A couple of my friends called their international advisors and found out if their SEVIS record has been updated and they were told it was and they got to know from their employer about the receipt two days later !!

Just want to pass on the information to those who are still waiting on the receipts !!
