Software Company On H1 Status

Hi ,

can a person on h1 open a software company..............i get contradicting views.................i know lot of people on h1 opening software consulting companies,.......................but i read on several immigration forums that H1's cant start a software firm..........

You can start, but you cannot be the head or an employee of the company as you are not a citizen. Well, you can ask somebody with citizenship to act as the head, sign the checks and all and be the CEO, and give them 20% or so of the profits, but you will be the driving force behind it.

So, its like showing the person with citizenship as the HEAD, but you are person behind doing all the work and taking al the decesions and profits.

You have to register with escore.

But be careful...

Select someone ewith citizenship whom you trust, like a friend or a family member...
