‘bharateeyudu,’ the magnum opus in combination of Shankar and Kamal Hasan was a super hit in all the languages released. There is a talk on sequel to this flick planned long ago and Shankar was holding talks with Kamal and Suriya to play lead roles in this multi star. As of now, the star director is busy with completion of ‘I’ starring Vikram and Amy Jackson.
Suriya will play grand son to Kamal in ‘bharateeyudu 2’ and story will be an extension to the point where ‘bharateeyudu’ ended. However, sources close to Shankar have personally spoken to few top media circles quoting them as just preliminary ideas. ‘As of now, the director cannot toy with any ideas till he completes ‘I.’ Currently; the next schedule and post production of ‘I’ are of top importance. Only after this, he can start working on any other script.’
