posaanisam Posted November 15, 2013 Author Report Posted November 15, 2013 One of the all time greatest batsmen in the world, Sachin Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973 at Mumbai in Maharashtra. Since his childhood Sachin possessed an immense passion for cricket. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar made his Test debut against arch rivals Pakistan at Karachi in the 1989-90 series under the leadership of K. Srikkanth. Since then he played 84 Tests uninterrupted till a toe injury forced Tendulkar to skip the tour of Sri Lanka. Now, after playing 200 Test matches, he has scored 15,921 runs at a healthy average of 53.78, including 51 centuries and 68 half centuries. A complete batsman, Sachin made his One-Day International debut against Pakistan in the 1989-90 series. Now, after playing 463 matches, he has scored 18,426 runs which include 49 centuries and 96 half centuries. Right now Sachin plays his last international cricket match against west indies. he decided to retire from cricket after this test series. Sachin Sachin we love you and miss you forever.
