Though it takes a while to present our movie review, the public talk about the film is sadly negative. According to first hand reports from the audiences, the film can be ranked between average and below average. The reasons are poor screen play, director Mehar Ramesh’s failure in handling the film and of course the story and its age old revenge concept. Venkatesh looks quite different wearing stylish looks in this film, but his misfit costumes in ‘Pilla manchi bandobasti’ and another song is very annoying. Some emotional scenes in the film seem quite casually presented, which need some depth in dialogues and performance. It is director Mehar Ramesh, who needs to be blamed for the poor show despite having a heavy star cast and no financial constraints. The positive things about this film are the different shades presented by Venkatesh, Tapsi’s glamour show, Naga babu and MS Naryana’s good performance. The film is lavishly shot with good technical values. The two twists in the film are very interesting. Final punch: The high expectations on film Shadow have attracted huge crowds at Jagat and Vikyat movie theaters in Tirupati. However, when the fans couldn’t get the tickets, they hurled stones at theaters and broke the glasses and tore the flex banners. They allege that the theater management has sold the tickets in black market to encash the openings of the film. But, as the talk comes a bit negative now, they should be happy for whatever happened that saves their money.
