Rahway Dmv.....ins Check?

Hello Bhaiyya's,

Me(H1 and stamped recently from India) and my Wife (H4) went to DMV office for my drivers licence renewal and my wife new drivers license. We stood in the line for 30 min and then went to the counter. The person sitting there told me that he could not find my INS record in his Database , but he was able to find my Wife's record. He asked me to go to a different counter, where a lady took my i-797 and passport and checked for 10 min and she said she could find my INS profile either. She gave me a case no. and took my phone no. and said DMV we'll contact after they contact USCIS. Anyone faced this kind of issue ???

On the other side they asked for my wife's SSN (which she doesn't have). My Wife said "i am on H4 and i am not working so i dont have a SSN", then the DMV person asked to come again with the SSN rejection letter. Is it true???? SSN rejection letter is compulsary???

Need your Inputs please.

Ento bhaiyya eee eduram i was like when heard about SSN rejection letter. Legal resident aa kada ani teluskonadiki INS check anta . Stamping aypoyindi 4 months back. But they didnt see my profile

OK bhayaaa .... kindhaa USCIS self check portal link ichaa chudu ..... start self check ..... it ask couple of u r info like SSN , and I94 number etc.... then it will search USCIS records and show u r current status .......take printout and show to them ...... hope this will help u

Babu OP, everything DMV said is true.
Recently DMV is checking the immigration status in the USCIS website and as per the new process for them, they must give the licence based on the record in USCIS website. Intaku mundhu mana 797 form choosi ichese vallu...but process change ayyindhi...

Yes, SSN rejection letter is also compulsory.. go to SSN office and they will issue the letter... with out any hazels

No worries 10 - 15 days lo u will get a call from DMV sometimes it happens. Mi wife SSN office nundi letter kavali bcoz tanaki SSN ledu kada NJ lo rule adi evariki SSN lekapoyina they have to get letter from SSN Office

Nenu kuda face ayya same situation Maryland lo... my I94 inka update kaaaledhuuu..It took me 2 months to update my i94 in DMV database called as S A V E system ani... after 2 months DMV cal chesi nee i94 update ayyindhii come and apply license annaduu...
