Simple123 Posted April 30, 2013 Author Report Posted April 30, 2013 This is how a general receipt number looks for vermont center EAC—13—XXX—XXXXX, for calif the first three letters are WAC.. 13 is the year in which USCIS received the application, next three digits refers to the working day(uscis center's first working day is on Oct 1st), today is the 148th working day of vermont and 146th working day of calif centers respectively, the last five digits are the receipt number, usually start with 5. So, the first receipt vermont generated today was EAC-13-148-50001. Check the status of this number on USCIS, if it is related to form I129 then a new receipt has been generated for H1B applicant. The last number i checked was EAC-13-148-53901. From the last 4 digits of this number, i can say that they processed 3901 receipts today at Vermont..
