ye maaya chesave Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 [b]Performances:[/b] [color=#000000][font=times new roman,new york,times,serif][size=4][background=transparent] [b]Nagarjuna: He played a character which has slight negative shades [/b].[b]The role is not challenging for him but he carried the role and film on his shoulders with his screen presence and good performance especially emotional scenes with viswanath .[/b][/background][/size][/font][/color] [b]Other Artistes: Nayanatara was convincing in the female lead character, K Viswanath added value to the film with his presence. Ashish Vidyarthi was fine. Brahmi was usual , Jayaprakash reddy was quite [/b][b]good but his character was not used well.[/b][b] M S Narayana And kovai sarala's comedy wast not at all good.[/b][b]Kota was brief, Ali appeared in one scene. Others were fine in their roles.[/b] [b]Technical Departments:[/b] [b]Story-Screenplay-Direction: Dasaradh again tried to make a good family entertainer of his mark. Story is not new, Screenplay was good in 1st half except for initial 10-15 mins. Family scenes came out well, Dasaradh should have opted for more family scenes instead of putting comedy tracks,change in hero characterization was also done well. Till Interval film maintains a good tempo. But 2nd half 's screenplay was not that good. The Whole track of Make A Wish foundation between kids ,nagarjuna,nayanatara was not conceived well and the emotional content didn't get elevated because of that. The direction was not upto the mark and worst graphics work diluted the effect even more. Confusion comedy towards climax was fine.Overall Dasaradh was successful to an extent but could have done better.[/b] [b]Other Departments:[/b] [b]Dialogues were alright. Camera work was fine but CG work co ordination was not good and that's why visuals were appeared a mismatch . Music by thaman is a plus to the movie, both songs and BGM Were good.Editing is fine.[/b] [b]My Rating: 6/10[/b] [b]Analysis: Greekuveerudu - Good family entertainer, has it's issues like Forced comedy, a bit lag in 2nd half and worst ever CG Work but Nag's presence, Nag - k viswanath scenes and dasarath mark family scenes make it a decent watch.[/b]
