Parents Visa Documents Scan Or Mail

Hi

Can we use scanned copies (Letter to consulate, Employment Verification Letter and Bank Verification Letter) for Parents visitor visa or do i need to mail the original documents to India.

When i searched online i am getting mixed answers. Some sent scanned copies and some mailed.

Can some one please share your experiences.

For US consulate, it doesn't matter whether they are original or scanned. Only the matter inside matters. If you have time, post the documents along with scanned ones. Otherwise scanned copies should be good.

Only practical issue is the paper size in India (A4) is slightly different from the (A4) in US. And the scanned copies when printed again in India don't look that good. Again, it is just for your satisfaction...
