Check this out "[color=#42474A]Well, would First Post or any other media house will do a fair in-depth analysis of Karnataka poll results? Was there really a Pro-CONgress wave & Anti-BJP wave?[/color][size=4] Well, Yedurappa could hardly win 6 seats but there are many seats where the total of BJP & KJP votes is higher than Congress' votes. And guess what, this figure goes as higher as 93 seats.(yes, 93). Here are few examples:[/size][size=4] Kumta Seat: BJP=28411, KGP=14286 (BJP+KGP=42697), Congress=36756 KrishnaRaja Seat: BJP= 46546 , KGP= 15573 (BJP+KGP= 62119), Congress= 52611 Byadgi Seat: BJP= 37877, KGP= 44348 (BJP+KGP= 82225), Congress= 57707[/size][size=4] So saying that this election was all about Anti-BJP, is absolutely wrong. I can recall this same pattern happened in Gujarat. Modi would have won more than 25-30 seats more,had Keshubhai Patel decided to remain with the BJP.[/size][size=4] Anyways, a defeat is a defeat. But after knowing the 'reason' of the defeat in K'taka, its absolutely understandable that Yeddi was the 'factor'. But i want Congress to remain in illusion that there is a Pro-Congress wave.
