[b]Position Summary:[/b] The Network Engineer 4 will primarily be responsible for the network engineering tasks with focus on network automation and modeling tool development.

[b]Job Responsibilities: [/b]
[font=Symbol][size=3]· [/size][/font][size=3]Develop network automation tools intended to reduce repeated tasks and help increase team productivity[/size]
[font=Symbol][size=3]· [/size][/font][size=3]Develop and enhance network modeling tools for network planning and analysis[/size]
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Perform sustained network engineering duties to support CRAN services - data, video, and voice products
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Train and mentor junior team members to help them ramp up on projects
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Participate in assigned interdepartmental technical projects.
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Provide On-Call support, focused on isolating and resolving outages relating to both tools and network

[b]Qualifications/Education:[/b]
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or
related fields. The equivalent in related work experience and self study may be substituted.
[b]Ideal candidate should have a strong software development experience along with network engineering experience[/b]

[b]Experience: [/b]
[font=Symbol]· [/font]3-4 yrs experience on PHP/Perl software development
[font=Symbol]· [/font]4 years of working experience with Cisco/Juniper router configurations and layer 3 routing protocols – OSPF, IS-IS and BGP is required
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Experience working with Object Oriented Perl would be preferred
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Strong knowledge of database concepts and working knowledge in mysql is required
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Working knowledge in Unix Environments is required
[font=Symbol][size=3]· [/size][/font][size=3]Experience with network modeling tools is a big plus[/size]
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Solid written and verbal communication skills
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Demonstrated initiative to build relationships both internally and externally with minimal supervision/direction from management
[font=Symbol]· [/font]Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
