Urgent -- Immigration Reform Bill

As you may be aware, the Senate is in the process of finalizing it’s version of the Immigration Reform Bill. The Senate Bill currently has provisions which will not allow assignment of a h-1b employee to a location other than H-1b petitioner’s office location, if you are a H-1b dependent employer.

On Tuesday May 14, 2013, the Senate Judiciary Committee will consider some of the amendments proposed by Senator Hatch and Senator Grassley. While Senator Hatch’s amendments will allow assignment of H1b employee to a third party location, Senator Grassley’s amendment will make it tougher to place H-1b employees on client assignments.
