Voter Receipt System In India

We get a receipt for each item purchased but we are not sure if our vote went to right person or not.
After EVMs were introduced, voters and few parties have had their own doubts about EVMs tampering and being programmed.
Supreme Court reacted on this and ordered EC to give assurance to voters.
On this, the Election Commission told the Supreme Court in january that it would soon incorporate a paper trail and issue a paper receipt to each voter after the ballot is cast through Electronic Voting Machine.
Testing has been done and in future elections, it will be implemented.
Your receipt will show if your vote has been rightly casted are not.
But you will not be allowed to carry this receipt outside the polling booth.
If a voter did mistake, or if he/she identifies a mistake with reciept or EVM, will they be allowed to change their vote ?
If receipts are not carried out, will they be trashed or misused to see who casted vote to which party and will it lead to more complications ?
EC has no answers to these questions.
As of now, they have ordered 250 printers and test them in any by-polls.
EC will be meeting with all political parties on 10th may to discuss on this issue and seek their suggestions and ideas.
