Indian Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik Wins At Copenhagen

[size=4]London, May 21: Internationally acclaimed Indian Sand artist[/size]
[size=4] Sudarsan Pattnaik has won the grand prize at the prestigious [/size]
[size=4] Copenhagen International Sand sculpture festival in Denmark for his [/size]
[size=4] sculpture on environment. Pattnaik, who is from Orissa, won the [/size]
[size=4] prize for his sand sculpture 'Go Green, Save Earth'. He created the 15 feet-high [/size]
[size=4] sculpture in 7 days for the festival. Pattnaik, brand ambassador of NALCO said [/size]
[size=4] "Global warming affects the whole world. We have to think about how we treat the [/size]
[size=4] environment and we have to find a proper way to be in balance with the nature. [/size]
[size=4] So this time I have created a sculpture on environment. [/size]
[size=4] This is the 1st time where I have created sand sculpture with colour sand on abroad." [/size]
[size=4] This festival is open for visitors upto August. Sand artists from 17 other countries [/size]
[size=4] have participated in the festival. Ghana won the Jury prize and Italy won the Artist prize.[/size]
[size=4] Last year Pattnaik won the Jury prize in Copenhagen.[/size]
