It was reported that Microsoft was working on an installation system that would prohibit the use of used games. Wired is reporting this indeed is true, but there are some caveats. Firstly, game disks will only be used for installation of the game and after that it will not be of any use. Additionally, Microsoft says that for a game to be installed on a second Xbox Live account, it will charge the user a certain fee, which it will reveal closer to the launch. While the situation is not as bad as many feared, the fact that users will have shell out extra cash for a second installation will definitely curtail the market for used games.
