Simple man...Long Run is being compensated by increasing num of theaters movie is being released. Appattlo long run was possible as num theaters movie movies used to get released in a city/town were less.
But, now in a single city/town the movie is being released in many theaters + even villages are also getting the new movies. Ex: my village only which was never the case 3-4 years ago.

Appattlo maha ante 300 theaters which was a very big number movie release ayyedi. Ippudu >1000 theaters lo release chesthunnaru, which 3-4 times higher. Konni movies 1200, 1500 n 1800 theaters lo kuda release chesaru kadaa man

Kabatti...Long Run adi aadindi...so, collections yekkuva n tharvatha movies yekkuva days run avvaledu, so thakkuva ane concept doesn't make sense.
