nenu ippudu oka asp app lo chinna bug undhi search feature panic heyytam ledhu bcoz its returning 40k odd rows.....so asp app time out avuthundhi...aa proc ni entha marchina waste..



so nenu ssrs report cheddam anukuntunna providing a same search feature..naa doubt enti ante ssrs report kuda timeout avuthadha..can it handle 40k odd rows..?

No you need to update some SSRS Datase properties so that it would not time out. If its an asp.net applicatoin you can use asynchronous request processing.

odd ani just word use cheisna meaning 40k+ ani.......so inni 10 thousands of records tho paging automatic ga vasthundha..lekapothe manam configure cheyyala

paging automatic ga based on data and size vasthadi .. you dont have to worrry about it ..

SSRS also has time out issues if more records..say millions of records.. nuvvu cheppina records should be fine.. did u try on demand load or custom paging where

SP proc retrieves records based on where clause..
