to test web services u need to use those tools

or

if u want a sample java code to write client class let me know ...or else best thing is to use the available tools to do the testing..(i am not sure about various testing methodologies and not sure if selenium supports web service testing)

REST is pretty much straight FWD as u can test from browser so be specific

SOAP UI is pretty simple. Just copy the soap request and see the resonse. thats it.
