gives you confidence..thts how it starts....

n then....watch movies,documentaries , read news.....

google unique words and understand the meaning...n try to

apply when you speak....listen to radio...

n bla bla bla.....if you want serious english....


put some more extra effort thn watch 1930's n 40's english classics....

yeah from experience...movies lo choosina, vinna pronunciation and vocabulary and tellolladaggara vinnadi tappa naku inka edi ekkaledu...ofcourse..time to time..new word or grammatical structure vinnappudalla internet lo dani meaning vetukutanu anuko...

+1..yeah its not easy...time and effort required....after a while you never know you get so comfortable with english more than your first language...

I feel awkward to say that i have done all my schooling in English, but my school is not that good to maintain its standards of a english medium. As i am from hyderabad, all my friends are from old city and cant speak english.

Man you actually have some problem with your attitude not place and language. Even some Telugu medium people communicate nicely, why are you considering old city factor ? Show some desperation to approach native English speakers.. language is a means of communication, if you start communicating with Americans your language will grow automatically. Start joking when you are in a group of English speaking people, they may not laugh initially but always be optimistic. Then you will realize that people here are not interested in language but communicating abilities.
