Initially you will have hard time dealing with them and thats when you will lose confidence about your speaking skills. Fact is, its not really the problem with english skills, most of the time it is the context they are talking about. So, to fix that, you have to work on few things... 1. Listen to what they say, carefully. Listen Listen Listen...thats the key. 2. Try to keep you English as simple as possible. You dont have to use complicated english words. This is not GRE...this is just a simple conversation. try to keep it as simple as possible. 3. Watch english dram movies/tv shows/some reality shows and individual shows like Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel, Piers Morgan, anderson etc. They help a lot to improve understand the conversation context. infact, staying in touch with current news will always give u an edge in discussions here. 4. Remember that english is not your mother tongue. And ofcourse americans know that. They dont expect you to know everything. So, just be honest and ask them if u dont understand what they are talking about. They will be really happy to explain. Ivanni one month try chesi...improve avvaledhu ani feel avvaku....it definitely takes time....but i am pretty sure you will get thru and gain confidence.

I have been living in USA for 4 years and i watch many TV sitcoms and TV shows... I absolutely dont have any problem in understanding the context ... The only problem is with speaking...
